The "Busy" ness of Life

We've been keeping busy with the essentials of life...last week, we hosted a dear friend from college, Leslie, and her little boy, Landon. Then, Meg and I drove to Kansas for a fun weekend with a college roommate, Lauren, and her husband, Andrew. THEN, we drove home and finally, finally met Kyle - home from a loooong trip away. Want to write (and will soon) more about friends and trips, but we're catching up on lost family time AND planning for a much needed family trip to the mountains of Virginia.

In the meantime, here are some cute, rascalish pictures of the Meggie girl. She's a climber, that one. On the morning that Leslie and Landon arrived, I was frantically dusting in the playroom. I heard the classic "crash" of picture frames tumbling from a shelf and looked over my shoulder to find Meggie hanging over the back of the couch...how she ever got up there is beyond me! :) I mean, really, how IS a body supposed to get any work done with this kind of mischief running rampant?!?
